Meet this year's Dudley R. Herschbach Teaching Award winners, Jacob Sanders and Winston Zhao, honored at the recent faculty meeting! The award "recognizes excellence in teaching and dedication to departmental service." Jacob, a Harvard A.B. graduate, has taught organic courses Chemistry 20 twice, Chemistry 27, and Chemistry 30, and also Applied Math 111, receiving Bok Center Certificates of Distinction in Teaching for all courses. Winston has taught the advanced undergraduate/graduate course Chemistry 163, Frontiers in Biophysics, two years and received rave reviews from his students.
