Shair Group Uncovers New Anti-Leukemia Approach and Mechanism

A recent paper in Nature from the Shair group, highlighted in the Harvard Gazette, describes a new therapeutic approach for acute myeloid leukemia. The work also reveals a new genetic control mechanism used by cancer that can be targeted by a small molecule named cortistatin A. Members of the Myers group also contributed to the study.
