A project entitled “Greening Laboratories using Wi-Fi Connected Tools” by Whitesides group postdoc Alok Tayi and Harvard senior Daniel Kramer has been awarded a Student Sustainability Grant for the 2014-15 academic year, and its progress is described in a blog the two have written on the Harvard Sustainability website. Their initial goals include fashioning web-based switches to turn lights and small equipment on and off.
