Researchers who wish to conduct experiments involving sources of radiation (radioactive isotopes, Mössbaur, irradiators) or lasers (class 3B and 4, laser microscopes) are required to complete training pertinent to these sources before starting experimental work. This page contains all the resources you will need to comply with Harvard’s laser and radiation safety requirements.
It is recommended that all Class 3B and 4 laser users complete a laser eye examination before a person begins work with a laser.
