Dilek Dogutan-Kiper

Dilek Dogutan joined the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology over five years ago on October 1, 2013. Before she joined our department, Dilek received her Ph.D in Organic Chemistry form North Carolina State University and worked as a Research Scientist for the MIT Chemistry Department.

Now, as a Principal Research Scientist in The Nocera Group, working with Professor Daniel G. Nocera, she earned a 2017 Dean's Distinction Award as recognition for her diligence, enthusiasm, and drive. In the speech Dean Mike Smith delivered to the 2017 Award winners, he said: "You are essential to everything we do. Our faculty and students are incredibly fortunate to have your ideas, your engagement, and your partnership....I extend my sincere thanks to you.” We could not have said it better.
