Winner of the 2015 Esselen Award for chemistry in the public interest, to be presented on April 16th here in Pfizer Lecture Hall by the Northeastern Section of the ACS, is Professor Eric Jacobsen. As described on the NESACS site, this award "recognizes a chemist whose scientific and technical work has contributed to the public well-being, and has thereby communicated positive values of the chemical profession."
