Wyatt Hurt

Wyatt Hurt is the Curriculum and Pedagogy Manager (CPM) in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University. He received an A.B. in Environmental Science from Harvard College and a Ed.M. in Science Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Wyatt finds joy in teaching and is passionate about helping students successfully transition to college. Prior to joining CCB, he taught chemistry at Chelsea High School, where he developed differentiated, lab-based curricula for chemistry and honors chemistry students. 

He has been involved in teaching chemistry at Harvard since he was an undergraduate, when he served as a Peer Study Leader and Teaching Fellow for Physical Sciences 11 (Foundations and Frontiers of Modern Chemistry). In his current role, he collaborates with faculty and teaching staff to develop course administration, management, and student support infrastructures that serve all courses offered by CCB.

Wyatt is also a First-Year Proctor at Harvard College, where he is a proud resident of Hurlbut Hall. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, running, cooking, and playing piano.
